Quran verses display incorrectly or cut off mid-ayah

Category: Bugs Priority: P2 Severity: major Area: quran-text Reports: 2 Status: Open

Summary: Two Arabic-speaking users report defects in how Quranic verses are rendered inside answers — distinct from the AI misquoting sources: here the verse text/layout itself displays wrong. Mohammad describes a problem with "encoding and line ordering" (الترميز وترتيب السطور) where the ayah gets cut off in the middle when it is presented within an answer; Abdellatif has asked him for a screenshot. Anas reported (entirely via the subject line, with a screenshot attached and an empty body) that a verse does not display correctly. For a Quran app, incorrectly rendered ayat is a trust-critical defect even at low report volume; likely suspects are RTL/bidi line breaking, diacritics handling, or Quran-font shaping inside the answer view.

Says the app is beautiful and very beneficial, but there is a problem in the text encoding and the ordering of lines: the ayah gets cut in the middle when the answer presents it. Abdellatif replied asking for a picture of what happens.

السلام عليكم صراحه التطبيق جميل وفيه فوائد كبيره لكن المشكله في الترميز وترتيب السطور تجد يقطع الايه بالتعبير عن الموضوع ارجو ان المعلومه مفهومه وشكرا

Peace be upon you. Honestly the app is beautiful and has great benefits, but the problem is in the encoding and the ordering of the lines — you find it cuts the ayah while expressing the topic. I hope the information is clear, and thank you.

The whole report is the subject line — the message body is empty and a screenshot is attached showing the mis-rendered verse. Abdellatif thanked him ("شكرا لك").

الاية لا تظهر بشكل صحيح كما مرفق في الصورة و جزاكم الله خير

The verse does not appear correctly, as attached in the picture — may Allah reward you.
