Summary

A large wave of users responded to the launch tweet/post about the "100 lifetime memberships" asking for the price, terms, guarantees, and how to buy and activate the $1,000 lifetime plan. Nearly all received the standard reply: $1,000 one-time via Stripe, 90-day money-back guarantee, all upcoming Pro features for life, full refund if Qaf shuts down within 2 years, personal and non-transferable, plus the Stripe link (buy.stripe.com/28E14o5Dp7UjdzW9UP0co00). At least two completed the payment (Baraa Charary, Mabrook Sattar), a Belgian organization is buying it for their fiqh teacher's account with invoice/API questions, and a Harvard PhD is seeking department funding. Conversion is lagging expectations — Abdellatif told Omar Twait on Aug 11: "8 people purchased so far, despite many reaching out. I think primarily because the cost is quite steep." Two operational issues recur across the cluster: many inbound inquiries landed in spam (replies repeatedly open with "sorry this went to spam"), and post-purchase activation is manual and delayed ("I'll send you the details on how to activate the account in a week or so").

Longest enquiry (14 messages): how solid the 100-person limit is, cost-effectiveness vs. an expected $19/mo / $99/yr Pro plan, model-downgrade assurances after the 90-day window, running the model locally, community fundraising vs. VCs, and whether he could upgrade later from $99/yr to lifetime without losing a spot. Abdellatif: models will change over time to balance cost, no VC plans, no local hosting plans, and he personally promised to warn Omar before the last spots fill.

Are there any assurances regarding the models not being notably downgraded (for the lifetime/pro users)? What if this happens in day 95, where you can't change your mind?
